V-MEXTA - ATEX certification for EX zone 0

On the 2nd of August 2024, tests of the vertical pump V-MEXTA OOK 12 OYN took place witnessed by the representatives of the authorized body “the Physical-Technical Testing Institute Ostrava-Radvanice“. The pumping unit is designed for pumping mixture of water, diesel and oil including abrasive additives. It is certified to work in the environment with a risk of gas and vapour explosion, zone 0 according to standard ČSN EN 13237.

The pumping unit was supplied for the project “Replacement of the slop pump PS 6078“, Central oil tank farm Nelahozeves, MERO ČR a.s.

MERO ČR a.s. is a key company in the Czech critical infrastructure ensuring the transport of oil through the Czech parts of the Druzhba and IKL oil pipelines and the storage of strategic reserves of this resource for the Czech Republic.
